OTAC’s fourth event and have we got an event for you!

Wednesday 7th December 2016 we are heading to Hilton Hotel, Newcastle Gateshead for a day packed with the latest equipment and adaptation guidance you will require in your day to day practice.

We have put on two OTAC events in 2016 Reading April 2016,  and Newcastle Gateshead Hilton December 7th 2016.

Over 75 exhibitors alongside running 18 seminars by well-respected speakers.

This exciting program includes, children specific seminars, the law, seating, postural management, hands on demonstrations, wheelchairs, sensory loss,  moving and handling, amputee and environmental adaptation considerations.   All seminars will relate to making environments accessible for your clients.

We have once again made this opportunity FREE of charge.  There will be fresh tea and coffee throughout the day and plenty of places to relax, network and grab a bite to each either through the on site buffet or in the hotels own restaurant.

Hot buffet lunch is for £12.50 should this be of interest.

I hope you take this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge around adaptations and equipment not only for personal development and reflection, but to also to enable you to showcase the value an Occupational Therapist can bring within housing adaptations regardless of your working environment within Health and Social Care.
