ABOUT

Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference and Exhibition

OTAC’s fifth event and have we got an event for you!

Wednesday 15th February 2017 we are heading to Osprey Hotel and Spa, Naas, Ireland for a day packed with the latest equipment and adaptation guidance you will require in your day to day practice.

Over 28 exhibitors within the exhibition hall alongside 5 seminars by well-respected speakers.

We have once again made this opportunity FREE of charge.  There will be fresh tea and coffee throughout the day and plenty of places to relax, network and grab a bite to eat either through the on-site buffet or in the hotels own restaurant.

If you wish to join us for lunch, a hot buffet is subsidised at £12.50 should this be of interest and can be booked alongside your free ticket via Eventbrite and there may be on the day an opportunity to book lunch at the Promoting Independence stand.

I hope you take this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge around adaptations and equipment not only for personal development and reflection, but to also to enable you to showcase the value an Occupational Therapist or individual specialising in adaptations for the disabled can bring within housing adaptations regardless of your working environment.

We hope you have a fantastic conference and enjoy networking with other professionals whilst gaining invaluable CPD opportunities for free.

Stuart Barrow is Managing Director of Promoting Independence LTD an experienced Occupational Therapist, Contributor to the 2005 College of Occupational Therapists Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct document.  Stuart has held positions within Wales for the British Association of Occupational Therapists and assist currently with the training and development of OT’s through the Regional Committee for Wales.
